What are vape coils?
The majority of vape coils are made of wire that has been wrapped in cotton. The cotton absorbs the e-liquid and draws it through the coil to create intense flavour and larger vapour production. Vaping requires 3 components the tank, which stores the e-liquid, the battery, which supplies electricity, and the coil heats the e-liquid and turned it into vapour. Coils are available in a variety of resistances or ohms, allowing you to personalize your vaping experience.
When should I replace my coil?
All coils need to be replaced; when the flavour of your e-liquid begins to change or you notice a decreased vapour production, it's time to change your coil. Trying a mesh coil or a ceramic coil if you're searching for a coil that will last longer.
What is coil resistance?
Ohms are the measurement of resistance in metal. With vape coils, it is an indication of how much vapour your coil will produce. Coils with high resistance (above 1.0 Ohm) produce less vapour and require less power. Coils with a resistance below 1.0 Ohm are known as sub-ohm coils - they require more power but produce a larger amount of vapour.
